Zomato and Battery Smart collaborate to offer delivery partners convenient battery swapping services
As per an official statement, this collaboration will grant Zomato's delivery partners the opportunity to utilize Battery Smart's extensive network of over 800 swap stations across 30+ cities.
Zomato, the prominent online food ordering and delivery service, unveiled a strategic collaboration with Battery Smart on Monday. This partnership will enable Zomato's dedicated delivery partners to tap into Battery Smart's expansive network, facilitating efficient battery swapping for electric two- and three-wheelers.
Battery Smart, a key player in the domain of battery swapping solutions, confirmed that this alliance opens doors for its delivery partners to access a comprehensive network spanning more than 800 swap stations, strategically distributed across 30+ cities.
Highlighting the significance of this initiative, Rinshul Chandra, Zomato's COO for Food Ordering & Delivery Business, expressed how the collaboration strengthens their commitment. He emphasized that Zomato's delivery partners now have the advantage of a widespread and accessible array of battery swapping stations, a move that resonates with Zomato's engagement with Climate Group's EV100 campaign. This campaign underscores Zomato's pledge to embrace a complete shift to electric vehicles by the year 2030.
Battery Smart's co-founder, Pulkit Khurana, remarked that the partnership extends empowerment to both new and existing delivery partners, allowing them to be part of the electric vehicle revolution.
