Cool off this summer with a refreshing glass of creamy goodness of mango shake, made fresh and homemade.

Ingredients

For Sugar Syrup

  • 2 cups Caster sugar
  • 1 ½ cups Sugar
  • 3-4 cups Water
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice

For Sweetening Mango

  • 5-6 no. Mango, peeled & sliced
  • 1 cup Sugar Syrup

For Mango Shake

  • ½ cup Sugar Syrup
  • 1 cup Sweetened Mango
  • 1 ½ cup Milk
  • 1 tbsp Condensed milk

For Serving

  • Sweetened Mango, cubes
  • Prepared Mango Shake
  • Vanilla ice cream

Process

For Sugar Syrup

  • In a saucepot, combine caster sugar, regular sugar, and water. Boil the mixture over high heat for 8-10 minutes.
  • Next, add lemon juice and cook until well combined. Turn off the heat and transfer the mixture to a bowl.
  • Set the bowl aside for future use

For Sweetening Mango

  • In a bowl, add ripe mangoes, pour prepared sugar syrup and let it soak well.
  • Keep it aside for further use.

For Mango Shake

  • In a mixer grinder jar, combine the prepared sugar syrup, sweetened mangoes, milk, and condensed milk. Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth.
  • In a serving glass, add sweetened mango and pour the prepared mango shake. Garnish the drink with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a sprig of mint.

Serve chilled.
