Cool off this summer with a refreshing glass of creamy goodness of mango shake, made fresh and homemade.
Ingredients
For Sugar Syrup
- 2 cups Caster sugar
- 1 ½ cups Sugar
- 3-4 cups Water
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
For Sweetening Mango
- 5-6 no. Mango, peeled & sliced
- 1 cup Sugar Syrup
For Mango Shake
- ½ cup Sugar Syrup
- 1 cup Sweetened Mango
- 1 ½ cup Milk
- 1 tbsp Condensed milk
For Serving
- Sweetened Mango, cubes
- Prepared Mango Shake
- Vanilla ice cream
Process
For Sugar Syrup
- In a saucepot, combine caster sugar, regular sugar, and water. Boil the mixture over high heat for 8-10 minutes.
- Next, add lemon juice and cook until well combined. Turn off the heat and transfer the mixture to a bowl.
- Set the bowl aside for future use
For Sweetening Mango
- In a bowl, add ripe mangoes, pour prepared sugar syrup and let it soak well.
- Keep it aside for further use.
For Mango Shake
- In a mixer grinder jar, combine the prepared sugar syrup, sweetened mangoes, milk, and condensed milk. Blend the mixture until it becomes smooth.
- In a serving glass, add sweetened mango and pour the prepared mango shake. Garnish the drink with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a sprig of mint.
Serve chilled.
