Looking for an icy beverage to beat the hot heat? You can relieve your thirst with the sweet and sour Indian beverage called Aam panna, which is made from raw mangoes. It not only cools you off in the heat, but it also provides a lot of health advantages. It is especially liked in the summer because of its cooling effects. Here is a simple recipe for Aam Panna:

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 raw Mangoes

  • 1 Cup of sugar (As per your taste)

  • 1 Teaspoon roasted Jeera powder

  • ½ Teaspoon Black salt

  • ½ Teaspoon Black Pepper powder

  • Mint leaves for Garnishing

  • Ice cubes

  • Water (According to your need)

Instructions:

  • Wash the raw Mangoes properly and Boil them in water until it becomes soft and enough to be mashed.

  • After boiling the Mangoes remove the skin and extract the pulp with a spoon.

  • Use a mixer or blender to mash the Mangoes pulp. At the same time add sugar, roasted Jeera powder, Black pepper powder, and black salt and mix them well.

  • Add water to the mixture according to the consistency. If you like thinner consistency add more water and add other ingredients as per your taste.

  • Transfer it to a jug or any jar. Keep it in the refrigerator for a few hours.

  • Before serving it, add ice cubes and garnish the Aam Panna with mint leaves.

  • Mix well before serving to distribute the flavors.

Your refreshing Aam Panna is prepared for drinking! On scorching summer days, serve it chilled as a drink to soothe your thirst.
