Vidyarthi Bhavan- Vidyarthi Bhawan, which was founded in 1943 to meet the breakfast requirements of school-age children, has subsequently come to be known throughout Bengaluru for its crisp, buttery dosas. Dosa, idli, vada, and coffee are among the restaurant’s restricted menu items that are the most popular. It continues to be a favourite among people of all ages and has hosted numerous poets, writers, and politicians. So much so that the location has pages and accounts on social media.

MTR(Mavalli tiffin room) - If you're in the city, you must stop by this location.MTR is a well-known brand in India and is older than a century. The restaurant, when it was first set up, only served coffee and idlis. After visiting Europe later that year, proprietor Yagnanarayana Maiya instituted strict hygiene standards in the kitchen that are still in place today.As the city evolved into the modern metropolis, MTR served consumers during a number of economic and social upheavals. Step inside, though, and you’ll find that it still has the same furnishings, tiling, and menu that it did almost a century ago. The popular dosas, idlis, and coffee they are known for have apparently kept their original recipes and formulations over the years, despite their global expansion.

Koshy’s-In 1940 - Koshy’s opened as a bakery. In 1952, it moved to its current location on St. Mark’s Road. The restaurant blends the atmosphere of a European and Itani café and offers a wide selection of delectable foods on its menu.Regulars would still place their orders without even glancing at the menu, and popular items like hot dogs and Kerala fried chicken could be seen on tables across the restaurant, but not without a glass of tea.

The only place - For more than 57 years, this steakhouse on Museum Road has been serving the best steaks to residents. It was one of the city’s first. As Regent Guest House on Brigade Road, the establishment first opened its doors to expats, US Peace Corps volunteers, Iranians, Palestinians, and other foreigners.The hotel’s creator, Haroon Sulaiman Sait, claimed in an interview with the Indian Express that because there isn’t much continental food available in the area, visitors from other countries often eat breakfast there, exposing the staff to a variety of cuisines. Pizzas and pastas eventually started to appear often in the eatery. The only significant change at this location now is that the burger, which originally cost Rs 2, now costs little more than Rs 200.
