Editorial Standards
Last updated: July 2026
Indian Food Times aims to report accurately, fairly, and transparently. These standards guide how we research, write, and publish our journalism.
Sourcing
We attribute claims to their source wherever possible — company statements, government filings, regulatory bodies (such as FSSAI), press releases, and named individuals. Where information comes from an unnamed source, we only publish it when we have independent reason to trust it, and we say so in the story.
Independence
Our editorial coverage is independent of advertisers, sponsors, and any brands we cover. Advertising and sponsored content, where present, is clearly labeled and does not influence our reporting or recipe recommendations.
Recipes & Recommendations
Recipes are tested or reviewed by our editorial team before publication where practical. Restaurant and product recommendations reflect our editorial judgment and are not paid placements unless explicitly disclosed as sponsored content.
Use of AI Tools
We may use AI-assisted tools for research support, drafting assistance, or editing on some articles. All content is reviewed by a human editor before publication, and factual claims are verified independently of any AI assistance used. See our full AI-Use Disclosure for details.
Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it and note the correction. See our Corrections Policy.
