Papri Chaat is a popular Indian street food. It is a savory snack made with crispy fried dough wafers (papris), boiled potatoes, chickpeas, and a variety of chutneys and spices. Let's have a look to an easy-to-follow recipe for making Papri Chaat at home:

Ingredients:

  • 20-25 Papris

  • 2 medium Potatoes (boiled and chopped)

  • 1 cup Chickpeas (boiled)

  • 1/2 cup Yogurt (dahi)

  • 1/4 cup Tamarind chutney

  • 1/4 cup Green chutney

  • 1 tsp Chaat masala

  • 1/2 tsp Roasted cumin powder

  • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Coriander leaves (chopped)

Instructions:

  • Arrange the papris on a serving plate.

  • Add boiled potatoes and chickpeas on top of the papris.

  • Whisk the yogurt with a little water and salt until it becomes smooth.

  • Pour the yogurt over the papris, potatoes, and chickpeas.

  • Drizzle tamarind chutney and green chutney on top of the yogurt.

  • Sprinkle chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt on top.

  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious Papri Chaat!

Note: You can adjust the amount of chutneys and spices as per your taste preference. You can also add sev, chopped onions, and tomatoes for an extra crunch and flavor.
