Coca-Cola Spices Up Its Portfolio with New "Coca-Cola Spiced" Beverage

Coca-Cola Spiced: A New Twist on the Classic! Arrives in US & Canada Feb 19th. Spice up your drink & quench your thirst with hint of raspberry & unique spices.

The Coca-Cola Company is adding a new twist to its classic beverage with the launch of "Coca-Cola Spiced," marking its first permanent addition to the North American portfolio in three years. This exciting offering, available in both regular and zero-sugar options, hits shelves in the US and Canada on February 19th.

Coca-Cola Spiced promises a unique taste experience, offering a subtle hint of raspberry paired with its signature cola flavor. While Coca-Cola keeps the specific spices under wraps, the company assures they elevate the existing spice notes present in its original recipe.

Shakir Moin, Coca-Cola's North American marketing chief, explains the strategic intent behind the launch: "We noticed an increasing consumer preference for bolder flavors, reflecting evolving taste palettes. This inspired us to explore how we could enhance our classic formula with an intriguing and unique profile that resonates with the next generation of consumers."

This launch comes on the heels of the successful "Coca-Cola Creations" campaign, a series of limited-edition flavor experiments introduced in 2022. With options like coconut, strawberry, and watermelon, the campaign explored diverse palates and garnered valuable customer insights.

Moin reveals that Coca-Cola Spiced went from concept to launch in just seven weeks, significantly faster than their usual development timeframe. This impressive turnaround reflects the company's commitment to adapting to a rapidly evolving market and consumer preferences.
