Karnataka: In a horrifying occurrence, a farmer struck a car by mistake, for which he had to pay with a truck loaded with 2.5 tons of tomatoes. According to accounts, a group of three took over the vehicle and departed after realizing that the farmer named as Mallesh lacked the funds to pay them for the damaged car’s mirror. The car’s glass was damaged in the accident, which happened in the Chikkajala neighborhood. The group drove off with the tomatoes after failing to get the farmer to pay them.

An investigation has been opened, and actions are being taken to find the offenders. The police claim that on Saturday, Mallesh was driving the tomatoes to Kolar when the truck unintentionally collided with the accused’s vehicle.

In addition to abusing the farmer, the defendants requested a sizable settlement since the collision had damaged the vehicle they were traveling in. The three allegedly grabbed control of the vehicle violently and left after the farmer and his driver failed to persuade the gang that they lacked the money.

They forced the farmer and his driver off the truck before speeding off with the truck’s cargo of tomatoes, which weighed roughly 2.5 tonnes and were valued between Rs 2.5 and 3 lakh.

The automobile they were initially traveling in was driven off by one of the three.
