And those with extremely busy schedules experience this phenomenon more frequently. However, it appears that one man from Pune went over and beyond when placing his order! Who knows what that means? Do you know? But one foodie who doesn’t mind splurging on dine then there is Tejas from Pune who spent a whopping Rs 28 lakh in a year, ordering food from Zomato.

Every year, many people order food from Zomato and Swiggy announces the top ordering trends of the year. While, this year, one surprise came out into the reports, Zomato’s year-end report reveal the one customer ordered pizzas worth Rs. 25 Lakhs in a single day. But, even this jaw-dropping bulk order was placed by a Pune man, who ordered the food approx. Rs. 28 Lakhs on the platform.

A man from Delhi placed 3000 food orders in 2022, or nine orders a day. This is another interesting figure.

According to the Zomato report, another customer purchased 1,098 cakes from the food delivery aggregator.

According to the report, one happy customer by the name of "Revivar" received discounts totaling Rs 6.96 lakh in 2022.

According to Zomato's report on top culinary trends, 186 biryani orders were placed every minute in 2022, making it the most popular dish on the website.

Swiggy said one of its customers from Bengaluru ordered goods worth Rs 16.6 lakh on Instamart while another had a big Diwali feast and placed an order of Rs 75,378 on the same day. Swiggy published its 2022 trends in the middle of December.

Biryani is one of the most selling dish in Swiggy order.
