Preity Zinta, who currently lives in the US, is visiting India for the IPL season. The actress recently appeared in full “Pahadi” mode, and she gave us an exclusive glimpse of that personality.
Actress Preity Zinta, her husband Gene Goodenough, and their kids Jai and Gia are currently taking a vacation from their busy daily lives by visiting Preity’s homeland of Shimla. In recent images, she can be seen attempting to light a traditional “Chulha,” used in the hills. The actress posted the images on her Instagram account with the caption, “Relivingld memories & making new ones. All the action revolves around the kitchen in pahadi homes. Here I’m trying to light the fire & bring the rarely used old school chulha to life.”
Preity Zinta is shown seated next to the Chulha while attempting to start a fire and cook while wearing a salwar suit, a jumper and a scarf covering her head. Her simplicity and connection to her roots are being praised by her supporters, who have praised her with comments like “Himachali Kudi,” which is Himachali girl for “connected to the roots,” and others.
Preity Zinta has expressed her pride in being a Himachali on multiple times, including this one. She had previously shown us her Pink Lady Apple tree in one of her “Ghar ki kheti” videos.
