With the proliferation of food delivery apps, satisfying your hunger even when you have nothing cooked at home has become incredibly convenient. These apps rely on hardworking delivery agents who ensure the timely delivery of your orders. However, it is disheartening to learn that these agents often work for meager salaries and depend heavily on the number of orders they deliver to earn their fees.

To make ends meet, many delivery agents take on excessive workloads, leaving them with barely any time to have a proper meal each day. Just think about it! The individuals who bring you delicious food frequently go hungry themselves, especially when they take on extra shifts.

Recently, a video shared by IAS officer Awanish Sharan shed light on the plight of one Zomato delivery executive. In the footage, the delivery agent can be seen hastily eating from a humble plastic packet. Though it is not clear what exactly he is eating, it is evident that his meal is far from extravagant.

The caption accompanying the video reads, "Take care of them too in this season." This simple plea underscores the need to consider the well-being of these delivery agents who work tirelessly to ensure our satisfaction.

The video quickly garnered attention, amassing over 300k views and numerous reactions. People were shocked to witness the delivery executive consuming a modest meal from a plastic packet. Many expressed their concerns about the exploitation faced by food delivery agents and emphasized the importance of providing them with a better quality of life.

In light of this incident, it becomes imperative for us as consumers to acknowledge the challenges faced by these delivery agents and to support initiatives that aim to improve their working conditions. They deserve fair compensation and the opportunity to lead a dignified life, just like anyone else. Let us remember to extend our care and consideration not only to the food we order but also to the hardworking individuals who bring it to our doorstep. Take a look video
