Swiggy, the popular food delivery platform, has launched a new service called Bolt that promises to deliver food to customers within 10-15 minutes. Initially, the service will offer a limited selection of items from select restaurants in major cities across India, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, and Pune.
Swiggy CEO Rohit Kapoor announced the launch, stating that the company aims to further revolutionize the food delivery industry by significantly reducing wait times. Bolt will focus on popular items like coffee, burgers, ice cream, and biryani, partnering with trusted restaurants to ensure quality and speed.

Some of the initial restaurant partners in Bengaluru include Wendy's Burgers, Meghana Foods, Cure Foods' Sharief Bhai, and Glen's Bakehouse. As Bolt expands, more restaurants and cities are expected to be added to the service.
