Indian Snack House Raises ₹2.2 Crore from Titan Capital to Expand South Indian Snacks Across India
Chennai-based D2C startup Indian Snack House raises ₹2.2 crore in pre-seed funding led by Titan Capital. The brand plans to expand its range of clean-label South Indian sweets and snacks across India and global markets.
Indian Snack House, a rising direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand dedicated to celebrating authentic South Indian sweets and snacks, has successfully raised ₹2.2 crore in its pre-seed funding round. The investment was led by Titan Capital, a firm known for backing transformative consumer brands from early stages to IPO.
Founded in 2023 by Chennai-based entrepreneurs Rajakumaran and Anbarasan, Indian Snack House emerged from a simple observation: while North Indian and western snacks dominate shelves and apps across metro cities, trusted and branded South Indian specialties remain scarce. Determined to fill this gap, the co-founders launched a clean-label brand that brings time-honored regional delicacies — free from preservatives, palm oil, and artificial colors — directly to consumers nationwide.
The fresh infusion of funds will power the brand’s geographical expansion into more cities and e-commerce platforms, while also enabling it to broaden its product portfolio. Alongside existing favorites like Tirunelveli Halwa, Srivilliputhur Palkova, Kozhikode Halwa, Dharwad Peda, and Atreyapuram Pootharekulu, Indian Snack House plans to introduce beloved snacks from Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana, thereby offering a truly pan–South Indian selection.
In a joint statement, co-founders Rajakumaran and Anbarasan expressed gratitude:
“We’re thankful to Kunal Bahl, Rohit Bansal, and the entire Titan Capital team for believing in our vision. Having partners with such a strong track record in building consumer brands is invaluable. We’re excited to take Indian Snack House to more cities in India and to Indian communities worldwide. This is just the beginning.”
A spokesperson from Titan Capital shared their enthusiasm for the brand’s mission:
“Indian Snack House stands out with its commitment to authenticity, clean-label promise, and deep understanding of regional flavors. We’re excited to support their journey as they bring the rich snacking traditions of South India to a wider audience.”
Since launching, Indian Snack House has already seen impressive traction, shipping over 100,000 snack packets each month and earning thousands of positive reviews on platforms like Swiggy and Zomato. The brand's philosophy of "Aspirational Quality" resonates strongly with modern consumers seeking nostalgic tastes without compromising on health or transparency.

As it gears up for its next phase of growth, Indian Snack House aims to become the go-to brand for authentic South Indian snacks — not just across India, but in overseas markets where there is a strong demand for regional Indian flavors.
In an increasingly crowded snack market, Indian Snack House’s clean-label approach and focus on regional authenticity position it uniquely to redefine how India — and the world — enjoy South Indian snacks.
