Commercial LPG Cylinder Price Slashed by ₹33.50; New Rates Effective from August 1

In a move that brings relief to commercial establishments across the country, oil marketing companies (OMCs) have reduced the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by ₹33.50. The revised prices come into effect starting today, August 1.

With this latest revision, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in the national capital has dropped to ₹1,631.50, down from the previous rate. The price cut is part of OMCs’ regular monthly adjustment and is expected to benefit restaurants, hotels, food vendors, and other commercial users.

However, the price of domestic LPG cylinders remains unchanged. The 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder, widely used in households, will continue to be sold at existing rates, providing no additional relief for residential consumers this month.

Oil companies in India typically review LPG prices at the beginning of each month based on global benchmarks and exchange rates.

This price reduction comes at a time when input costs remain high for small businesses, and the move is likely to offer some operational ease to commercial consumers grappling with inflationary pressures.
