Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal recently exchanged vows with Mexican entrepreneur Grecia Munoz in a private ceremony held over a month ago. Munoz, a former model hailing from Mexico, is currently engaged in her own startup venture focusing on luxury consumer goods. The couple, who returned from their honeymoon in February, has since settled into their new life together. Munoz, embracing her new home in India, has been sharing glimpses of her experiences, including visits to iconic landmarks in Delhi.
This marks Goyal's second marriage, having previously been married to Kanchan Joshi, whom he met during his time at IIT-Delhi. Goyal, aged 41, is the founder and CEO of Zomato, a leading food delivery platform headquartered in Gurugram. From its humble beginnings in 2008 as Foodiebay, the company has expanded significantly, now serving over 1,000 cities across India.
In recent developments, Zomato faced criticism for introducing a 'pure veg' fleet of delivery executives, identifiable by their green uniforms, who were tasked with delivering exclusively vegetarian meals. However, following widespread backlash on social media and concerns regarding potential safety risks for the delivery staff, Goyal swiftly addressed the issue by discontinuing the green dress code.
