Test Report Confirms Beef Fat, Fish Oil Used in Making Laddus at Tirupati Temple

Tirupati, India: A recent lab report has revealed a shocking discovery: beef tallow, fish oil, and palm oil were used to make the laddus, a sacred sweet distributed as prasad at the renowned Sri Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati.

The revelation came from the Centre of Analysis and Learning in Livestock and Food (CALF) lab at Gujarat's National Dairy Development Board. The lab analyzed ghee samples used to make the laddus during the previous YSRCP government's tenure.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu accused the YSRCP of using substandard ingredients and animal fat in the preparation of the Tirupati laddu. However, the YSRCP party has vehemently denied these allegations.

The Tirupati Laddu is a highly revered prasad offered at the Sri Venkateswara Temple, managed by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD). The discovery has raised serious concerns about the quality and integrity of the sacred offerings at the temple.
