A New York-based restaurant prepares a special 'Modi Thali' in honor of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to the United States. The vibrant Thali includes traditional Indian dishes and has gained popularity among the Indian community.

A New York-based restaurant has prepared a special Thali dedicated to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in advance of his four-day tour to the United States.

Shripad Kulkarni, an Indian-born man who owns the restaurant, can be seen discussing the “Modi ji Thali,” which includes dishes like “khichdi,” “rasgulla,” “sarson ka saag,” and “Kashmiri dum Aloo,” among others.

Kulkarni stated that the Thali had already been tasted by many at his restaurant and had been immensely popular with the Indian community, albeit the cost is not yet known. Mr. Kulkarni can be seen demonstrating the vibrant "Thali" and providing further information about the special offering in a video that ANI posted. According to reports, the proprietor of the eatery also has plans to introduce a second thali shortly with S Jaishankar as its honorary recipient.

“This thali is scheduled to launch shortly. I have no doubt that it will become more well-known. When this succeeds, I also intend to release a Dr. Jaishankar Thali since, according to the Indian American community, he shares the same rockstar attraction.

Thalis have already been released in advance of events involving Prime Minister Modi. Before his birthday in 2022, a Delhi restaurant had introduced a Thali with 56 dishes that gave the callowed the consumer to choosen or non-vegetarian cuisine.

On June 18, organizers in 20 significant American cities said they would march in support of him on “India Unity Day.”

According to a statement from the Ministry of External Affairs, PM Modi will be welcomed by President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden at a state dinner at the White House during his visit to the United States from June 21 to 24. PM Modi’s trip to Washington will be his first as a state visitor.
