India's 30 Best Bars, a highly respected ranking organization, recently held its awards ceremony for 2023, announcing the top bars and bartenders across the country.
Held in Goa on January 15, 2024, the ceremony saw Sidecar in New Delhi claim the coveted title of best bar in India. Cobbler & Crew in Pune and Lair in New Delhi came in at a close second and third, respectively.
Beyond its overall win, Sidecar also snagged the award for best cocktail menu. Cobbler & Crew, meanwhile, took home both the "Highest New Entry" and "Best Bar Team" awards. Additionally, Aashi Bhatnagar from their team was crowned the Best Bartender for 2023.
Other notable winners included Toit in Bangalore, named the "Best Microbrewery Or Taproom," and both ZLB23 at The Leela Palace, Bangalore and Copitas at The Four Seasons Hotel, Bangalore, jointly awarded the "Best Hotel Bars" title. ZLB23 also won the "Best Bar Design" award. Comorin in Gurgaon was crowned the "Best Restaurant Bar," while the Polo Lounge at Hyatt Regency Delhi won the title of the "Best Timeless Bar."
The winners were chosen through a comprehensive poll involving over 250 bar enthusiasts, beverage influencers, and industry experts, according to the official site.
