Exciting Update for Food and Drink Enthusiasts in Delhi as Late-Night Street Activity Increases.

Delhi's streets are set to come alive with hustle and bustle late into the night, bringing great news for food and drink enthusiasts. Food trucks will now be open until 2 am, allowing people to satisfy their cravings during late hours.

Given the significant number of individuals residing in Delhi for education and employment, many enjoy spending time with their families and friends in the city, even during the late hours. However, the administration has previously imposed time restrictions due to security concerns. Nonetheless, sources have revealed that the new food truck policy may grant permission for extended operating hours in Delhi.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal recently held a meeting with the Tourism Department and other relevant departments to discuss this matter, and the announcement was made during the budget session.

The Delhi government had hinted at the possibility of extending business hours earlier, and it is anticipated that they will now take more decisive steps in this direction following the Supreme Court's decision on administrative arrangements. Last year, during the budget session, the Delhi government introduced the Food Truck Policy to enhance the economic landscape. As a result, food truck hubs were established across various areas of Delhi to cater to people's culinary preferences. Now, these hubs may also receive permission to operate late into the night. Over 30 locations have reportedly been identified for this purpose, and the government is currently engaged in ongoing discussions and consultations to finalize the plan, with an official announcement expected soon.

The primary goal of the food truck policy is to boost economic activities and employment opportunities. Therefore, it is likely that licenses for operating food truck hubs may be extended until 2 am. Additionally, the government is committed to addressing connectivity, transportation, metro facilities, and ensuring the safety of the public, thereby ensuring convenient commuting for all individuals.
