New Delhi: Rohan Mirchandani, the visionary founder of the popular snack food brand Epigamia, passed away on Saturday at the age of 41 following a cardiac arrest. Drums Food International Pvt Ltd, which owns Epigamia, expressed profound grief in a statement, urging the public and media to respect the privacy of Mirchandani's family during this difficult time.
Epigamia, known for its healthy offerings such as flavored yogurt and juices, was co-founded by Mirchandani with a focus on natural and preservative-free products.
In a heartfelt message, COO and founding member Ankur Goel and co-founder Uday Thakker said, “Rohan was our mentor, friend, and leader. His vision and values will continue to guide us as we work together to honor the foundation he built. We are determined to carry forward his dream with strength and vigor.”
The company's board of directors, including representatives from Mirchandani’s family, Verlinvest, and DSG Consumer Partners, highlighted his immense contributions to the industry. “Rohan was not only a visionary leader but also an inspiration to everyone who knew him. The day-to-day operations of the company will continue under the leadership of COO Ankur Goel and co-founder Uday Thakker, with full support from the board of directors.
