Brutal Attack in Gurgaon: Man and Brother Assaulted After Restaurant Complaint

A man and his brother from Gurgaon were brutally attacked with iron rods and threatened with death after they complained about the food at a local restaurant. The incident occurred around 8.30 pm on July 3 when Sudhir, a resident of Jhajjar, visited a restaurant in Jatauli and expressed dissatisfaction with the egg curry he had been served.

According to Sudhir's complaint, he complained to a person named Monu about the curry, and in response, Monu's brother Rohit assaulted him with a stick, targeting his back and waist. Subsequently, they began kicking him, leading Sudhir to call his brother Gopal for help. However, instead of resolving the matter, Monu, Rohit, and others attacked both Sudhir and Gopal with various weapons, including iron rods, an axe, a lathi, and sharp objects. The attackers threatened to kill them and inflicted severe injuries on them.

As if that wasn't enough, Monu and Rohit instructed others to break the victims' fingers and force them to consume urine when they regained consciousness. After the assault, the victims were rushed to the government hospital in Pataudi for initial treatment and later transferred to Jhajjar Oscar Hospital for further medical attention. Gopal suffered a fracture on his left arm due to the vicious attack.

A First Information Report (FIR) was filed on Tuesday at Pataudi police station, charging the attackers under various sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 147, 148, 149, 323, 325, 427, and 506. The police are currently investigating the matter, but no arrests have been made yet. The victims continue to seek justice for the horrifying incident they endured.
