Badshah Partners with Karan Tanna’s Ghost Kitchens India to Launch Badboy Pizza, Targets ₹150 Crore Revenue
Rapper Badshah teams up with Ghost Kitchens India to launch Badboy Pizza, blending Indian and global flavours. Plans to open 50 outlets in metros and aims for ₹150 crore annual revenue.
In a bold move into India’s growing quick service restaurant (QSR) scene, rapper and entrepreneur Badshah has launched Badboy Pizza — a fresh pizza brand promising a fusion of Indian and international flavours. The venture is a partnership with Ghost Kitchens India, led by entrepreneur Karan Tanna.
The brand opened its first flagship boutique outlet at
Tarapore Chowk, 520, Adarsh Nagar Rd, opposite Nature’s Basket, beside Nuts and More, Highland Park, Andheri West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400102.
This location is already drawing attention thanks to a creative launch campaign where Badshah ends a playful spat with a dramatic pizza slap — all under the tagline: “Pizza that slaps.”
Badboy Pizza plans to quickly expand by opening 50 outlets in India’s metro cities over three years, using a hybrid of dine-in restaurants and delivery-focused cloud kitchens. With pizzas priced around ₹400 per person, the brand aims for an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of ₹150 crore.
Badshah shared that the brand’s inspiration comes from his travels: “I’ve tasted flavours from around the world and wanted to bring that international quality to India but keep it desi and relatable. Partnering with Karan Tanna and Ghost Kitchens makes this vision possible.”
Ghost Kitchens India, which manages over 1.2 lakh monthly orders and operates brands like Starboy Pizza and New York Waffles, recently raised $5 million in Series A funding. CEO Karan Tanna sees Badboy Pizza as a new-age QSR brand, combining celebrity power with scalable business strategy to appeal to India’s youth.
India’s QSR sector itself is booming, forecast to grow from $85 billion in 2025 to almost $140 billion by 2030. Within this, the pizza segment is expected to double by 2033, boosted by rising incomes, urban lifestyles, and changing food habits.
Badboy Pizza stands out with its diverse 50-item menu, blending bold local creations like Tandoori Tikka, Chicken Keemalal, and the spicy Pushpa Pizza with international favourites such as Smoky BBQ, Meh-Hee-Koh (Mexican), Hollywood Salmon, and Truffle Cacio-E-Pepe (Italian).
The new venture adds to Badshah’s growing portfolio of youth-focused lifestyle businesses, from fashion (Badfit) and nightlife (Dragonfly) to fine dining restaurants (Sago, Sidera, Sivelle), media, and sports investments.
With catchy branding, a prime location in Andheri West, and a menu designed for adventurous eaters, Badboy Pizza hopes to carve its own slice of India’s thriving pizza market.
