Aditya Birla Group's Hospitality Arm Takes Full Ownership of Four Restaurant Brands

Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality (ABNAH), the hospitality arm of Aditya Birla Group, announced on Tuesday that it has successfully acquired a 100 percent stake in four renowned restaurant brands: Hakkasan, Yauatcha, Nara Thai, and CinCin. The acquisition includes KA Hospitality Pvt Ltd (KAH), the company that owns CinCin and holds the franchise rights for the other three global restaurant brands. However, the exact financial details of the deal have not been disclosed, according to an official statement.

ABNAH emphasized that the four brands are strategically positioned to cater to a wide range of customers, spanning from mid-market to premium segments. Hakkasan, a Michelin-starred establishment, is known for serving modern Cantonese cuisine, while Yauatcha, an award-winning dim sum teahouse from London, offers an exceptional tea experience.

Nara Thai, another brand in ABNAH's acquisition, stands out for its contemporary take on authentic Thai cuisine, capturing the essence of Thailand's culinary heritage. On the other hand, CinCin exudes the vibrant ambiance and cultural richness of the Italian "La Dolce Vita" lifestyle, making it a modern Italian dining destination.

The acquisition of KA Hospitality Pvt Ltd (KAH) and its associated brands has enabled ABNAH to expand its portfolio with the addition of seven restaurants, spread across three cities.

In light of this latest development, Aditya Birla Group's management, represented by Founder ABNAH Aryaman Vikram Birla, expressed their belief in the immense potential of the premium casual dining sector in India. They emphasized that this growth is driven by the increasing disposable income and evolving lifestyles of Indian consumers.

Overall, the acquisition marks a significant milestone for ABNAH as it strengthens its presence in the hospitality industry and broadens its offerings to meet the diverse preferences of customers across various market segments.
