New Delhi: A new mobile app called 'Sansad Cafeteria' has been developed for the convenience of Members of Parliament (MPs) and employees working at the Parliament House complex. This app allows users to place orders online for food from the Parliament's canteen. An official from the Lok Sabha Secretariat informed PTI, "With the approval of competent authority, a mobile app named 'Parliament Cafeteria' has recently been launched for online ordering of food."

Through this app, MPs, Parliament House employees, and staff working in offices within the Parliament House complex can order food from the catering units located in the Parliament House. The 'Parliament Cafeteria' mobile app has been developed by the India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC).

According to documents related to this initiative, users can select their choice of food and food items from the available menu using the mobile app. They can also specify the quantity they require and make online payments for their orders.

The mobile app is available for both Android and Apple devices, making it accessible to a wide range of users. To use the app, individuals can download it from the Android Play Store or Apple App Store and register by providing their mobile number and email address.

Users can place orders for their preferred meals using the app. They need to specify the room number where they want their orders to be delivered. Information about the estimated delivery time will also be available.

Furthermore, the app will provide the convenience of using QR codes for payments. The menu includes a variety of food items, including sandwiches, puri sabzi, poha, masala dosa, among others, for lunch. The app also offers options for mini thali, shahi paneer, chicken curry, kadhi pakora, jeera rice, mushroom peas, and more for afternoon meals.

This innovative mobile app aims to streamline the process of ordering food for MPs and employees within the Parliament House complex, offering a convenient and efficient way to enjoy meals while conducting parliamentary and official duties.
