During the flight's stopover in Nassau, Bahamas, they took matters into their own hands and ordered snacks from the popular fast food chain, Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). Passengers were pleasantly surprised when the crew distributed KFC chicken buckets, ensuring they didn't go hungry during the flight.

The airline acknowledged the unusual situation, stating, "With limited options available at the airport, our teams sprung into action and made sure our customers onboard our flight had something to eat." British Airways further apologized for the inconvenience, acknowledging that they had to "wing it" on this particular occasion, as reported by USA Today.

A now-deleted Instagram video captured the flight crew distributing chicken pieces directly from the KFC bucket, showing the crew's commitment to providing some form of sustenance to the passengers.
