The airline acknowledged the unusual situation, stating, "With limited options available at the airport, our teams sprung into action and made sure our customers onboard our flight had something to eat." A now-deleted Instagram video captured the flight crew distributing chicken pieces directly from the KFC bucket, showing the crew's commitment to providing some form of sustenance to the passengers.
